Richard III is one of best historical films set in England end of the War of the Roses, telling the story of the Tudor dynasty. After the death of Richard III in the Battle of Bosworth Field, his nephew Richard IV takes the throne and reigns for many years. Richard IV has two sons, his oldest son Prince Harry (played by Robert East) was expected to be the rightful heir to the throne, but he is actually a mad man. His younger son Prince Edmund (played by Rowan Atkinson) is clumsy, foolish, arrogant and despised by the entire royal family. However, this self-proclaimed "Black Adder" Edmund attempts to seize the throne from his father and brother. With the help of his two followers, Percy (played by Tim McInnerny), a foolish nobleman who is the only one who respects him, and Baldrick (played by Tony Robinson), a cunning peasant, they begin their seemingly great plan to take over the throne.
